At Atonement Lutheran School we are pleased to offer a high quality Christian education for your child.  Small class sizes allow teachers to spend extra time with each child.  All children participate in Chapel services led by Pastor Haught and throughout the day are taught the principles of Christian life through lessons about our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are excited that our teaching staff at Atonement Lutheran School meet and exceed accreditation standards.  Experienced, educated and loving teachers allow us to offer the excellent program you are seeking.  Our Teachers

The Early Childhood Programs at Atonement Lutheran School are especially set up to meet the needs of your family.  You have a choice of full-day or part day classes, as well as extended care services.

Growing with the North Valley, Atonement Lutheran School provides early Elementary Programs.  Currently we have classes from Kindergarten through Fourth Grade with plans to add an additional grade each year.  In addition, the school offers an extended care program for those families who need before or after school care.

Visit our Extended Care pages for more information.

Accreditation

Accreditation is something many families ask about.  At Atonement Lutheran School we are pleased to continue our accreditation with the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NSLA) program through the Early Childhood Accreditation Commission, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Pacific Southwest District.  This year our Elementary Program is eligible to begin the accreditation process.  It takes nine months to two years to complete the process.  We'll let you know how we are progressing.  Read our latest Accreditation Letter.

What is accreditation?  The
NLSA is a rigorous national accrediting process designed to evaluate schools based on their unique purpose as Lutheran schools. It helps schools evaluate not only the quality of the academics and programs, but also most importantly the spiritual dimension of the school.  The following is an excerpt from Dr. Carl J. Moser, Executive Director  with the NSLA:

"These standards are based on 3 assumptions. First, Lutheran schools believe that a high quality educational program is required of our schools in order to be good stewards of the blessings given by Almighty God. Second, Lutheran schools willingly cooperate with local governmental agencies unless such cooperation inhibits the free sharing of the Gospel. Third, Lutheran schools strive to meet and, where possible, exceed all local, state, and federal guidelines for public schools."

We look forward to our accreditation soon coming under one umbrella; that of Atonement Lutheran School Programs.
