Early Childhood News

Preschool goals are designed for each child based on age and readiness. We believe that God has designed each child to be an individual. It is our joy to discover each student’s unique way of learning and help each child reach his or her full potential.

Our 3-year-old Early Childhood Program starts with early childhood basics: colors, shapes and name recognition. It offers daily lessons in Bible study, literature, physical education, math, science, social studies and art experiences. It is structured but child friendly; encouraging exploration, using play as a means of constructing knowledge and building on social skills and appropriate school behavior.

Children may enter our 3-year-old program when they turn 3, if space is available.  This class may be repeated.  It is important to us that we maintain a low child-teacher ratio.  You'll find our classes small enough to offer lots of individual attention and love.

The 4-year-old program continues building on skills introduced to our 3-year-old students. It adds to the knowledge base already developed in the areas of Bible study, mathematics, social studies, arts and crafts, literature, science and social development. It offers reading and writing experiences through phonics and whole language activities. This program prepares the student to enter kindergarten confident and gives experiences that encourage reading readiness.
