Physical Facilities
Our committee has the honor of overseeing the physical needs at Atonement - from the day to day operation of the buildings and grounds, making sure air conditioners and toilets are running, buildings are kept clean, and the grounds are neatly landscaped. This is done for Church, School and community use.
We determine a solution to a physical need either by fixing it ourselves or farming out the project to the proper trades (A/C, electrical, plumbing, construction, etc).
Physical Facilities also has several sub-committees:
Trustees: Trustees are responsible for opening and closing of the Church and School buildings, and work along with Elders in this responsibility.
The New Building Committee: Planning for future structural needs of our Church and School.
Physical Facilities has scheduled work days each quarter of the year (see calendar info below) and a "Helping Hands" board - please join us! These days are a great way to meet and fellowship with other members of the Church!
Ways to Engage - Work days, skills or not, you can help! Painting, cleaning, welding, yard and tree trimming, wiring, installing and moving things!
Current Physical Facilities Board:
Tim Kiendl (Chairman), Howard Balch, Tim Pleger, Wanda Swanigan and Tom Rogers.
The Physical Facilities Board normally meets in the fellowship hall at 7:00pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month, but please check the calendar info below for exact dates / times.
